Will Community College Classes Count?

I am currently a high-school senior and I will be attending Cornell in 2006. I will study premed, and currently I am taking General Chemistry at a local community college. Will this class count on my science GPA for medical applications? What if I don't want it to count and I am taking this just for the experience?

i'm not sure about your medical/science gpa or anything, but it will not count in your Cornell gpa. Only the credit can transfer (if they do indeed take it) not the grade.

If you take it at a community college, you will be forced to report the grade when you apply for med school.

What if I can choose at my high-school to make the course a letter grade or pass/fail? Will I still need to report my letter grade if I choose to report it pass/fail?

So basically I still need to get a high grade in this course? I had no idea.

About the course: it's only the first half of the general chemistry so I doubt Cornell will accept it as credit.
