I was just wondering if law schools will look on you more fondly if you've double majored. I myself am majoring in Poli Sci and International Relations. Just wondering how much of a boost if any this would be?

None whatsoever. Having a double major in wildly different subjects and doing well in them could give you a little bit of an edge. So, if you were double-majoing in engineering and art history, it would help a LITTLE. (LS admissions is mainly #s driven.)

But poli sci and international relations isn't going to help.

Well, poli sci and international relations majors would be pretty redundant - think doing chemical engineering and chemistry. So it won't help you at all. In fact, some schools won't let you do it.

As an engineering/liberal arts double major, I will say that the experience of learning two disparate subjects in depth is fantastic. Personally, I would not trade it for anything - even a slight edge in l.s. admissions. Do it for the enjoyment of double-majoring, but not because you think it will help you.
