I am a rising senior in high school who just recently applied to Drexel University. I have sent in my SAT scores which is 1540 (I know not the best), a resume (which included 2 jobs, 3 clubs, 3 long term volunteer activities, and why I wish to be accepted into Drexel), transcripts (Weighted GPA 3.88 and Un-weighted GPA 3.65,and All As and Bs as final grades in AP and Honors classes), and two recommendation letters. What do you think my chances are of getting in?

What are you looking into Drexel for? I know some of their programs are very competitive while other normal majors are just fine. Drexel is one of those colleges that have admissions dependent on what you plan to study there.

If that GPA is on a 4.0 scale, its pretty good. If not…

You really need to work on that SAT score. That score is in the low percentile for the college. If you got A’s and B’s in your APs and Honors, then howd you only get a 1540 on SATs

Keep working to improve that SAT score and you will be just fine. Good Luck

P.S. - If that SAT score you listed is on a 1600 scale, you have just successfully ■■■■■■■ me.

I am trying to major get into their business program. I know it is semi competitive program, but nothing compared to their engineering program. My un-weighted GPA is on the 4.0 scale, but I have done some research and it says that’s the average. Thanks for your help! I agree t I really need to get my SAT score up, I’m just not the best test taker.
