<p>I doubt they would like it. Any other colleges you’re applying to won’t like it, either, unless you have a valid (ie. medical) reason to do it.
Although, 8 APs is a bit much in the first place. I know that in my school, you aren’t allowed to drop APs if you sign up for them - you’re required to do what you signed up for because it was your own fault if you signed up for too many.</p>
<p>I don’t know. For all we know, Cornell might admit you largely because of the number of AP’s you have. Plus, doesn’t it hurt your GPA if you drop a class? At my school, if we drop the class this late in the year, we get an automatic failure in that class. Which AP’s are you dropping and which are you taking?</p>
