If I drop my Honors Physics class, would that have any affect on my application status or my acceptance?

Why are you dropping it? How many other classes are you taking?

You would have to confirm with Cornell if admitted. You might lose your acceptance because of it,

you wouldnt lose acceptance because of it

i dropped it and still got in

I have 5 APs and 2 honors so far. It’s just so time consuming and taking away from my APs. I’m really struggling in that class and the teacher won’t offer any extra help for those who are struggling. Today we received our class average for a recent test and it was a 58%. I just feel it is best if I dropped the class because I’m working so hard to barely pass. All my other grades are A’s. I don’t want to seem unmotivated, but I don’t want to slaughter my GPA and put myself in agony for a class that I won’t even take in college.

If you have A’s in other classes, you should just take Physics.

since you’ll have 6 other challenging classes, it seems like it’d be okay to drop honors physics…
