I'm planning to start college early...wondering will fasfa aid me for my expenses during the summer session...?

if the Fafsa is for your intended Main school then yes. If you plan to start early at a Local college then no it will not be covered.

The FAFSA does not "award" anything. All it does is determine your eilgibility for federal funds (pell grants, loans). It is up to your school to determine whether or not you get FA your summer courses.

At many schools if you are awarded FA (pell grants, Stafford loans) and use it toward the summer, the amount that you have for ther rest of the school year (fall, spring terms) will be reduced.

Your best bet would be to check with the school to see how they determine FA for summer courses.

Depends on the campus: Cal (and UCSB?) only award summer aid to CONTINUING students, not NEW matriculants, but UCLA does provide finaid to new enrollees.
