A lot of people have already gotten their acceptances for NYU, but don't worry; I didn't get mine until Monday of this week. Haven't heard from Boston University, though.

Tufts, Vanderbilt & NYU are the most difficult schools for admission which remain on your list. Your posted profile looks good for Wake Forest University, Boston University & Fordham. You should be admitted to Holy Cross and UMass as well. However, if you are not, then there may well be a problem with your application essays or with your teacher recs. Is it possible that your application essays are tired due to so many apps? Were teachers upset at having to write multiple recommendations for you? It is important to make the school feel special in your application to each college or university. Tufts & Vanderbilt are reaches for almost everybody this year. NYU could be a match school for you depending upon your application essays. Nevertheless, Wake Forest University should like your intelligence & athleticism and WFU is an academic powerhouse of a university. Personally, I love UVM. Were you admitted to the Honors Program/College at UVM?

I wasn't accepted to honors but got presidential scholar . . . my essays and teacher recs were all quique and not rushed. The only rec that meay be a problem is my guidance counselor's
