Will I be considered with the International Students or just Freshman?

I am not a permanent resident in the US nor am I a citizen here. I immigrated to the US when I was 4 and attended 1st to 12th grade here. I got a 108 on the Toefl iBT test and took honors and AP english during my high school years. I am told that I still need to apply to colleges with the international student application. But since I attended school here, do you think the colleges would consider me with the regular freshman applicants? I'm just worried I would be at an advantage being placed with the internationals because my grades and scores aren't the strongest.

If the person was your guidance counselor then he should know best. As far as I know, you will be applying as an international applicant. Only green card holders are considered domestic. The possible exception might be your state schools since you went to HS instate. You might also qualify for instate tuition. Check their websites. This link may help:

The fact that you went to high school in the US does not make you a domestic applicant (except perhaps as noted above, for the state schools in the state of your high school). You will be part of the international pool, but you may get a small “bump” because you clearly are fluent enough in English to attend classes.
