In a move of an unprecedented lack of foresight (well… not really, I suppose), it looks as though I failed to copy & paste the remaining half of my final sentence for my second essay. I realize it’s a minor issue and that it’s EXPLICITLY mentioned on the homepage to check carefully (suck it up, :,( I know ), but I can’t help but feel as if the orchestra had decided to stop playing right before the closing phrases of Götterdämmerung. Of course, I don’t dare to imply my essay was nearly as noisy or ham-fisted as Wagner (sorry for all y’all Wagnerians out there), but you get my point. Any possible way I can remedy this? I’m considering asking my teacher to fill in the remaining words as a P.S. in his rec letter, but that might be a little too cheeky, even for me.

To clarify, I’m not really concerned in futilely fussing over the possible ramifications of my mistake; it’s a shame and will most likely reflect badly on my responsibility as a candidate, but I believe my essay is totally capable of standing up without those closing words (and if it doesn’t, that’s on me to bear)… … BUT STILL … whenever I look at that gaping void of a sentence I get the shivers, and not of the pleasant sort…
