I am a first semester freshman at Bentley University. In high school, I graduated 6th overall in my class, was incredibly involved (Class President, community service, etc) and my resume shows all of this.

Right not I am doing well at Bentley, but I want to transfer because it is too expensive. I know I am going to get an A (4.0) in two of my classes, at least a B (3.0) in another, and I am fearing that I end up with a C in a writing class.

Could that C potentially keep me from being admitted to UMass Boston?

Do admissions counselors factor in the reputation of the school from which you are transferring?

Since I have no transcript from Bentley yet because it is only my first semester, I have to wait until May until my application is evaluated. The suspense is killing me. I need an idea of where my grades should be and how likely I am of being admitted with my current grades. Any help is appreciated.

Honesty is appreciated. I do not want any one to sugar-coat anything to make me feel better.
