Will I get in?

So I applied back in September and am beginning to worry.

-I have a 28 composite ACT with a 10 on the writing.
-3.63 cumulative GPA (had a major injury Sophomore year that got me behind)
-From a smaller school that does not offer AP courses, but I have taken the most advanced courses that my school offers, including several dual credit.
-will be entering college with 25 college credits taken via dual credit courses
-Very involved in extracurriculars throughout high school, was a state officer and the national officer candidate from my state for a major CTSO
-held the same job since June of 2011
-Very involved in my community through volunteering and serving on various committees
-I also sent letters of recommendation from my college professor, business teacher, and the state director of a CTSO
Will I get in? I applied for Carlson and CLA.

@NDstudent you didn’t mention your class rank but your ACT is within their range for admission to CLA (and it’s within the top 49% of admitted). If you included your story for Sophomore year on your personal statement that should help as should the rec. letters. (and keep in mind that your GPA is right below an A- based on a 4.0 scale, which is solid if not excellent). If I had to guess, I’d say you would be admitted to CLA.

FYI there is another thread on the UMTC forum in which people are discussing those who haven’t heard back yet - their chances at this point, etc.: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-minnesota-twin-cities/1736647-so-when-will-i-hear-back.html#latest

Not Carlson, but possibly CLA
