I hope to transfer in the fall as I am a freshman at a community college
My college GPA is a 3.33
I’ll have 25 transferable credit hours
Do I have to send in high school transcripts or is that enough credit hours?
My high school GPA was a 2.1
ACT score was 18
I’m also a non resident of Mississippi
Will you have 25 credits after you transfer? Or will you get more?

It says you need 30 credits. So if you apply, you’ll need your high school transcript

Have a 2.0 cumulative GPA as calculated by the University of Mississippi on all transferrable credit AND have successfully completed the following 30 semester hours with a 2.0 GPA at a regionally accredited school:
6 semester hours of English Composition
3 semester hours of College Algebra, Quantitative Reasoning or a higher level math
6 semester hours of Laboratory Science
9 semester hours of Humanities and Fine Arts
6 semester hours of Social or Behavioral Sciences
@NASA2014 I believe that is for students with 30 credit hours or more so that doesn’t apply to me atleast I think.
Based on what everyone says the answer is no; you need 30 credits. Can you take six hours in summer school?
@EarlVanDorn Yeah i’m taking more classes in summer, when is the fall deadline because how would they get those summer classes to transfer on time?
@Trump45 I suggest you call the admissions department tomorrow and ask them. I really don’t know the answer to your question. If you are within driving distance, it might be good to visit in person so they could look over everything so you could be sure that you were doing everything you needed to do. Good luck!
