Right now I have 12 transferable credits and I'll be attending Summer and Fall semesters at GPC (Community College). As of right now, I have a 3.5 GPA and I'll be looking to improve/maintain that GPA. My SAT scores aren't the best at 1490 (willing to retake). Also, I was an ******* in high school and had to take an online course, but I received a 3.2 GPA.

Would I stand a chance at being able to transfer to UGA with 30 credit hours and a good GPA, or would my chances be vastly improved by transferring over with 60 credit hours into Terry as an MIS major?

Im waiting to hear back from uga now. Im transferring in with over 60 hours though. Don’t worry about you high school stats. I didn’t even take the sat…trust me whatever you were in high school I was worse. They do not ask for anything from you high school years. As a transfer they basically only need your info and transcript from any college you have attended. There is not an essay, no place for ec’s or high school scores. When I filled out the application I was expecting a long proccess, it was like 8 pages but mostly personal info and I remember thinking the application was really basic. regardless if they accept you with 30 hours. just do the tag program and wait till you get your associates and make sure your gpa is high enough and they will HAVE to accept you. It may not be what you want to hear but thats a pretty sweet deal, knowing you will be accepted at uga after another 1 1/2 semesters with a minimum 2.8!!! Its like stealing… so goodluck
