Will I get into any of these 5 colleges

Im a Sophomore at a very good all boys private school in Cleveland, OH. I want to get into either UNC, Wake Forest, High Point University, Elon University, or Michigan State University. My freshman year I bombed at got a 2.41 gpa. My sophmore year i bombed first half, had an epiphany and ended up with a 3.45 second semester for an overall sophomore year of 3.08. Junior year i got a 3.6. I just got voted captain of Varsity Squash team. Also I did a Strnad Project at my school which is a solo project you propose to the school and are funded money to do such research or development. In my project I build a large scale bio-diesel production system, set up an annual source of wasted vegetable oil from a local restaurant, and set up all of the grounds crews motors to work off the bio-diesel, cutting the schools gas price in half. Freshman summer I worked the entire summer as a dishwasher a very nice restaurant until that fall when i was promoted to a prep-chef. Since then ive been working as a prep-chef at the same restaurant. I have taken no AP's except Statistics. Other interesting classes ive taken are microeconomics, auto-mechanics, and war strategy. Lastly i took latin for 4 years from middle school till junior year then i quit. I scored a 1650 on my SAT. Will i get into any of the colleges i listed?

That seems a little incoherent; you can’t say you’re a sophomore if your junior-year grades are already out…

UNC: Reach
Wake Forest: Reach
MSU: Match
Elon: Reach
High Point: Low match (I hope you don’t want to attend HPU just for its facilities)

Your SAT score has to increase.

I think anyone can get into High Point. I know a student who got into Elon ED with low stats.

Fine, Elon is a much lower reach than WF or UNC…

HPU doesn’t exactly admit everyone but HPU rejectees have really, really bad academic credentials to start with; 3.1/1650 isn’t bad enough for that, though.

i actually just graduated from High Point and I would agree that you need to raise your SAT score. Slowly but surely, they are really trying to shift their focus from a school with a beautiful campus to a more academically challenging school. Because of this, they are legitimately beginning to reject people who have previously “scraped” by. Even if you can get in, it is quite a pricey school (42000+ right now with about $2500 in price increase for each year) and a 1650 on the SAT will not get you a dime of scholarship money.
