Hello all, I am a current senior at a competitive high school in southern California. I am applying to at least 8 schools, but these 2 schools are the ones I am not sure about in terms of where I stand for admissions. I am planning to apply to Business for both. Here at my stats:

GPA: 3.4 UW
3.5 W
Class Rank: school doesnt rank
AP’s: APUSH(3), AP Gov(currently taking), AP stats(currently taking)
ACT: 33 (35 english, 35 reading, 32 science, 28 math)
EC: 30 hours community service, volleyball and soccer for 4 years, involved in 2 clubs
-White male
-family income ~$150,000 per year

Side note: essay will most likely be regarding my experiences in the hospital when I had two collapsed lungs my junior year and how they shaped my outlook on life, etc.

I think it’s very likely that you’ll get in. Your ACT score is quite a bit above the average at both. And your essay sounds like it’s going to be really good.

Great ACT, but for Washington, the concern will be their average unweighted GPA of around 3.8 and their emphasis on GPA over test scores.
