I am an out of state student from California. I currently have a 3.36 unweighted gpa, but I also attend one of the hardest high schools in the state. My sat is 1920 and ACT is 27 and I have taken a total of 9 AP classes since sophomore year. I had a freshman unweighted gpa of 3.3, a sophomore unweighted gpa of 3.0 and then drastically improved junior year with an unweighted of 3.7. I have over 130 hours of community service and some decent extra-curriculars. What do you think about my chances?

no one? come on people :p

Definitley get your SAT/ACT scores up to boost your chances

Well, I am done taking both tests. The average SAT score for University of Washington, according to some sites,is 1940, which would put me just slightly under the average

semireach, gpa is really killin ya, but if ECS are decent, you have a shot

UWs really goin for outta state people

^

Not to the point where the OP has an advantage – even if he doesn’t need aid.

I dunno why you wouldn’t take the tests again, anyways. There are a few things working against you here and the only one of them that you can fix is your standardized test scores. It will help if your school is as tough as you say and your class rank is relatively high, but it’s probably still a reach.
