Will I get into Wash U (stl) ED?

Hi guys,

here is what i look like.

Applying to Wash U ED.

About an 89 average, but only because of a horrible freshman year of 83.8. I attend the most difficult private school in Texas (St.John's) located in Houston. I have a 91 sophomore year, 92 junior year, 93 first quarter of senior year. I took five AP classes senior year, 4 AP classes junior year and two languages simultaneously to make 6 classes. 1560 SAT I, 800 Math 2c, 730 Writing is what I am sending them. The ETS lost my US History SAT II which i would have dominated and its too late to take it now... My big extracurricular is music. I have played both drums and piano for about 6 years. Recorded and released a full album for an Independent Study Project which I received a 95 on. Worked at the houston medical center in a human neuroimaging lab for 2 years. member of math and science club for four years, debate for three, various other clubs in school. did community service for about 80 hours in mexico. thats all i can think of now. I'm just a bit worried about my freshman year tarnishing my transcript. Aside from that year I would have about a 92 at a very highly respected school. What do you guys think?

help please...

Hello, your achievements are impressive to this point and i would say you're a very strong applicant. I am also applying to WUSTL RD.
When you don't know how or you're feeling down, just pray. God hears and he can change the outcome of things. Really the favor of the Lord does it all.
I'm sure you'll make it.
Actually, Washington wants to see how devoted you are to your community, they want to see your level of commitment. Your school records are important but ec's are very important, too. Well I guess it's all about knowing how well to package who you are on pieces of paper! I hope you applied for the Friends of Music scholly. That's up for grabs.
By the way, what's the major?

major would probably be in the field of medicine with a minor in music. im hoping the babysitting i did and community service would help in the area of community.

Wash U is the place for you. Their programs suit you perfectly. They encourage all students to participate actively in Music and a music minor is just perfect. They'll grab you.
