I am usually a straight A honors student, but I got two Bs last semester. This semester I will probably get two Bs and a C in AP Chemistry. My grades and ACT were already higher than the average, but would northwestern rescind my acceptance for this?
Hopefully they will only put you through the butt-kicking machine with a warning.
No
Probably not, but get your grades in order if you want to rest easy.
I believe the general rule is to start worrying about a real chance of being rescinded at 3 Cs or a D
What wording was used in your admissions offer? Does it say no Cs?
It might make a difference if you are a McCormick or Weinberg acceptance. If you are not a STEM kid you might be ok. You can always call the school “for a friend”…
Or you could just not identify yourself. The person on the other end of the line has better things to do than do reverse look-ups.
Explain why you are willing to risk losing your spot, inquiring minds want to know.
I am in a very similar situation, would you mind telling me what happened? Thanks! I’m super nervous.
