Recently, my senior grades have dropped and I am worried that if I get into Boston University, which I find out in 2 weeks, that I may have a chance of getting rescinded after they see my senior grade.
My freshman to junior accumulative GPA is 3.6 unweighted
My first semester senior gpa is around 3.0-3.2 right now.
Is this a problem I should be concerned about? I took my hardest classes in senior year to challenge myself, but now I regret it.
First of all, you havent been admitted yet, so don’t stress about something you may not need to stress about (I hope you do get in, btw, but having anxiety has taught me how much you should not worry about things that havent happened yet). Secondly, even though they give you an estimated fin aid award upon ED acceptance it is not set in stone and if you, for instance, got straight c’s and d’s, they could potentially take merit money away and rescind/put you on academic probation if they really want to. But assuming your school uses a regular gpa system, you are pulling mainly B’s right now, and no, nothing drastically life changing is likely to occur from getting mainly B’s. But do your best to maintain these and/or bring some of those up. Dont stress yet
