<p>Sorry to break it to the other folks here, but the UC’s are not reaches. The average UC GPA for UCLA and Cal was 4.15/4.18 respectively, and the average SAT scores were 2030 and 2050. His EC’s are great, he is in-state, his SAT II scores are not horrible, which is all that matters for that area. Not to mention the competitiveness at his school, and the UW GPA does not matter for UC’s. It’s the UC GPA that counts.</p>
