My child just got the report card of the final semester. The grade dropped from 3.5 to 3.2 because one C+ and C- of two AP classes. Will IU revoke the offer? Thanks in advance!

IU won’t revoke the offer. You can be 100% certain.

Thanks, T24E4!. Even with 2 C’s?

For most universities, a D is when you are in danger. It doesn’t seem likely that he would be revoked, although I do not know that particular school policies. Check the admission offer for wording of conditions of the offer. You can talk to the hs GC, and if there is any doubt he can call admissions.

I forget what poster regularly states this but it makes sense to me: avoid Ds, Fs and felonies.

Agreed, a students grades need to really fall of the cliff for a college to revoke. Some “senior slump” is almost expected. Relax. In addition, most colleges only get the year end grades, not the grades for any one semester.
