Will JHU ask for my first quarter senior grades?

I’m applying ED to the biomedical engineering program. I was just curious to see if my first quarter grades and rigor of courses look solid if JHU were to request them from my counselor. Thanks :smiley:

I took 5 AP Classes along with an Advanced Class in Math and Varsity Swimming.

AP Physics C-90(I accidently failed one test due to sickness but the rest were good)
AP Art History-98
Multivariable Calculus- 98
AP Psycology-99
AP Statistics-97
AP English Literature-98
Varsity Swimming-100

If I were to make a B (89) in Physics C would that hurt my chances??

Yes, I believe you’ll have to submit a midyear report with your first semester grades. Yes, your classes and grades are fine. I’m not sure about how the 89 will affect your chances; I’m inclined to say not that much, particularly if you took Physics subject tests or have an established interest in science or engineering through your activities.
