Will low SATs2 hinder my application if everything else is solid?

I have a 4.0, 2340 superscore, but I am taking my SAT2s in two weeks and I’m not quite ready (I’ve been scoring probably in the low 700s). I need to take them now to apply ED/EA, however, and I’m looking at Ivies + Williams/the other top LACs.

I’m so sorry if this sounds obnoxious at all-- I am just extremely anxious about how the SAT2s will affect my admissions. I have very strong ECs and leadership positions, as well as a “point” (I am a distinguished musician, offered scholarship at Berklee College of Music, have meetings set up with heads of music departments at the schools I am visiting).

I have one 710 on world history from 10th grade and believe I will score approx. a 730 on math2, maybe slightly higher or slightly lower. In addition, I am not sure where my US SAT2 score will be; I took a practice test in June and got an 800 but that was right after taking my AP exam.

If I submit, say, a 730 on Math2 and a 720 on US history, will that hurt my chances at admissions, given my other qualifications? Obviously those scores won’t help me and I know that my goal should be 750+ (senior year coarse load is very intense and I don’t’ know how much more time I’ll have to study between now and the tests). Will the scores hinder me, however?

Thank you so much for taking the time-- I apologize for my anxiety and the “annoying” nature of this post but all feedback is SO much appreciated.

Have a wonderful day!

More than anything, it looks like you need to figure out what type of college you want to go to. Saying the Ivies and top LACs is basically every school ranked in the top 50; I’d try to narrow down your list and figure out where you’d fit. A 710 and a 720 won’t hurt you.

700 is fine. And it would only be an issue at schools that consider SAT IIs.
