Is it considered way less cool to get all A's now? It's been a personal goal for me to get all A's and I've done it so far. I haven't done spectacular extracurriculars but I'm certainly not holed up in my room everyday studying... anyway I know lots of kids get in without 4.0s obviously but do you think the reverse is happening at all?

No. At most high schools a 4.0 doesn’t mean very much because there’s a lot of grade inflation, but obviously it’s still better than a non-4.0 (even if only marginally). Mediocre ECs will keep you out of the very top schools.

Lol when I saw your post, I was like is this for real? Let me go check this out. Of course a 4.0 will not hurt you. In fact, it’s amazing. Be proud of your 4.0. It’s a huge accomplishment! Try getting involved with some extracurriculars, they’re sure to help you not only in admissions but in growing as a person.

I can’t believe someone even asked this question. I just facepalmed.

Have you taken appropriately rigorous courses? If so, no problem. If not, hmmm

Oy vey

Well it most definitely won’t hurt you, but it may not be too helpful depending on what school you go to. For example, at my school, the top 10-15 all have 4.0’s generally, so it’s not really that big of a deal.

haha ur funny…

???

SMH. Unweighted, a 4.0 is the max, so obviously, that counts for something.

You aight?
rofllllllllllllllll no pls hahaha
Brrrrrrruuuuhhhhhh
Is this even a legit question? Like for real? :)) :)) :))
…
I guess it depends on the classes you’ve taken…
… I literally cannot even right now …
Guys this thread is a year old but still
SMDH. What a teroll.
Why is this even a question? :((
