I have completed all 60 units with all IGETC requirements and have been accepted into Cal state Long Beach. The only problem I have is that I received a D in my geology class this last spring semester and I wanted to know if my admission will be revoked?

That depends on the rest of your grades? If there are no more Ds and a minimum of Cs, then I’d imagine that you would safe. Report it to the school and see if there is a way to make it up.

Any other opinions?

Last year there were a few cases on CC where Ds at CA colleges were rescinded. I would be proactive if I were yo and attempt ot sign up for the class at commuity college this summer, or find an online equivalent. That way, if your get a letter concerning the grade, you will be able to show the steps that you have already taken to remedy the problem.

Dude, it cal state LB, you’ll be fine !

I have two weeks to send in my official transcripts for this semester which they look at as final clear cut grades so that they can make their decision…

any others?

???

If you’re that concerned about getting rescinded, contact the admissions office about your concern. They can give you more details about what you could do to guarantee your admission. It also shows that you are motivated truly care about your situation, thus the admissions office will be more understanding when they receive your final transcript.
