Will my ear-piercings interfere with my interview?

It's an unpaid internship interview for entertainment company. I researched on the background of the history, and for the most part, they are very relaxed and want to "thrive on everyone's differences." No suits, but along the lines of formal-casual. It's just small silver studs, btw. Nothing big. But I can't take it out because I got these done a few weeks ago, and I applied for this internship months ago thinking I wouldn't get it. What's your thoughts?

…If you can’t take them out anyways, why are you asking? Just do your best in the interview.

Why not ask? I guess I’m specifically asking if anyone has dealt with a situation like this, and if it affected them negatively in any way.

Entertainment industry? Casual? Unpaid? They have literally zero grounds to judge you on your earrings unless they’re gigantic gauges.

You’re fine.

Update: The internship was fantastic! Very casual but serious. Didn’t care at all for the piercings. Even the workers themselves were in jeans. Thanks for the input, guys.

so how will you afford shelter, and food?

And what does it matter to you? If you can’t have anything helpful to say, why waste your time with my thread?

It’s a decent question tbh, congrats on the interview though!

I don’t understand spec’s comment. Where did it say anything about the OP’s housing funding? I did an unpaid internship on top of a few jobs. Many people do. I don’t understand…

Good job, OP :)

it’s a question, not an interrogation. jesus

A piercing in each ear is, well, normal, correct?

Regards,

well good to hear everything went well. in the future though, esp if you are a guy, id consider taking them ou before hand. even a girl i would suggest a more conservative look (depending on the job, etc)
