To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter in regard to my financial aid suspension. My first semester at ______________ was a little overwhelming. Lack of funds to pay for my tuition left me stressed and uncertain about my future at __. Since returning home, I have had time to reflect on my past semester and brainstorm on ways to prevent financial turbulence in my upcoming years. In order to prove that I am able to cope with the rigors of college coursework, I have attended school at a local community college this fall semester, taking 12 college credits and working full-time. I have been fully committed to my classes and was recently readmitted into the university. Although there are many great schools in my hometown, attending _ was more than just an educational experience. I do not believe that there is another school that will help me maximize my potential as well as ______ can. I am confident that if I am awarded another opportunity to receive financial aid, I will perform extraordinarily well. Also, in order to ensure my success, I will frequent tutoring sessions and seek the personal help of my professors whenever needed. My semesters away from _____ have taught me the importance of exhausting the educational resources provided by the school and time management. In addition to the financial aid that I would receive, I have successfully set up a transfer of employment from my hometown to a location in ______. My mother, who was unemployed at the time of my attendance at __ is now employed at an assistant living community and has been working an average of 50 hours a week. Through being rewarded financial aid, I hope to receive my degree from _______ and attend graduate school to become a leader in my field. Please allow me to have aid for the upcoming spring semester of 2013 so that I may achieve this goal.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
