The deadline for NYU is January 1st and I'm taking the December SATs. The scores aren't released until I think the 23rd or 24th. NYU specifically says on its website that it doesn't want a rush reported score. However, will my December SATs arrive on time for the deadline?

Yes, it should.

The College Board reports the Dec. 4th scores electronically to the colleges on Dec. 27th. As long as NYU is getting electronic reports, they will have the scores by Dec. 27th.

I have called some colleges and for some that is all they need - to receive the scores by Dec. 27th and they are automatically in their system and associated with your file. Other colleges, someone has to then manually enter the scores to have them associated with your file and that can take additional time, especially in the week between Christmas and New Years.

What if I send them on the day the scores are released online?

Bump?..

What about January scores. Will those meet the deadline?
