IM, I never said that I felt entitled. I have emailed two of my professors suggesting an extra credit assignment to bump my grade by one, as had been my intention all along. Neither have replied.

alamemom - that is the way my daughter’s scholarship is. Her GPA is checked after every semester, including summer semester, and if it drops below the allowed GPA she loses her scholarship but can regain it if she brings it back up within a semester. So if she lost it at the end of spring she could regain it at the end of summer (could also have it at the end of spring and lose it through summer classes).

At my daughters school the GPA requirement of 3.0 for scholarship retention is checked at the end of the Spring semester each year. If the student falls below a 3.0, the scholarship is suspended and the student has either the summer term or until the end of the Fall semester to bring the grades up and have the scholarship reinstated. If the student fails to do so by the end of the Fall semester, the scholarship is terminated.
