Will my strategy work to get a 33+?

Basically I've taken the ACT twice.

Feb 2011: 32E/29M/32R/32S (calculator died halfway through, F*** my life)
June 2011: 29E/34M/29R/32S

So for the September ACT I'm reading Barron's ACT, Barron's ACT 36, using the practice tests in those books, and taking the practice tests in PR 1296.

3-4 days prior to the test, I'm going through all of the questions/answers in the Red Book (I've already done it before, so just as a review).

Should this be sufficient enough for a 33+? As you can see my super-score is a 33, but I really need this in a single sitting and I'm starting to get doubtful.

Any other suggestions to hone English/grammar skills? I've heard SparkNotes English is decent...is it?

Get that English score up. Seriously. It’s probably the easiest section in which you can improve. I’d highly recommend PR’s Cracking the ACT book for English review. There’s a lot of basic knowledge in there that you can skip over, but they do explain other more confusing concepts efficiently.

In my opinion, it’s by far the best prep book for the money.

P.S. Make sure your calculator has fresh batteries. :)

haha thanks. ^

any other words of wisdom?
