Will my TAG be reconsidered?

Hello--

So I'm a little bit confused about my situation. My TAG was recently accepted to UC Davis (for Economics). However, this past semester I received a D in Calculus I. Yet on the TAG acceptance response it says that I have already "completed the math admission requirement." This is because (i'm assuming) that I have already completed statistics.

So my question is - will my D in Calculus I nullify my TAG acceptance to Davis?

Thank you so much!

You can look at the Davis website which has a section titled “Grade and course requirements”. What happens if you don’t meet the requirements is something best known by the people that work in Davis admissions. In general the people that work in admissions like college students and want to help. You’re much better off taking the mature approach and contacting them right now than you are by waiting to see what happens (or relying on some anonymous person assuring you that things will be ok). Maybe they say you are ok, and then you KNOW you are. Or if not, there are many more options now than there will be down the road.

Thanks mikemac!

I just emailed the Davis Adviser and will post the outcome in case anybody is in the same situation.

They said that I’m okay since my GPA is above and I fulfilled my math requirement (stats) already.

I am happy for you. Have fun at Davis!
