<p>Hey everyone, I filed a TAG yesterday with my CCC transfer coordinator. He said it will be forwarded to UCD and it will take about a month for them to approve it. I will have all my major pre-reqs done by the end of Spring listed on assist.org, but short of one math class that is no longer offered. My GPA is not the greatest of all, but enough to initiate a TAG for Computer Science. Can anyone tell me some reasons or causes that they may not approve the TAG? Thanks!</p>
<p>are you doing just cs or cs & engineering? if you are doing just cs I think you're fine but know that if you are in fact doing the cs & engineering major you are required to have all the pre-req's done by the time you transfer or you're automatically rejected. If you are doing the latter I would suggest trying to take that last math class online from another cc that does offer it (although I think it would be quite hard to find linear algebra or diff. eq's online somewhere--which i'm assuming is your last class math you have to take)</p>

i've finished the entire math series all the way up to ODE, then i found out that i have to take something called discrete math. i've also done the entire calculus based physics series, and took gen chem 1 (if that's any help).</p>
<p>As far as I know, doesn't davis require all preqs completed for the major? I am trying to transfer there too, in psych tho.. And for that major I have to complete all prereqs..</p>
<p>BUT i was told that if your school does not offer it it CAN NOT hurt you, so it looks like you are in good shape if you have a good gpa as well.

<p>I have a question concerning the UCD tag. my CC advisor tells me that I cannot sign TAG because this fall is my first quarter at my CC. ( I have 2 years of foreign coursework that adds up to over 30 semester/45 quarter credits, with a pretty good GPA) But it doesn't say anywhere on the requirements that a student needs have previous academic work in order to apply. I am also currently enrolled at the CC for fall quarter.. Do I have a chance of signing TAG?</p>

<p>I know that there's some kinds of limits on amount of units and also if you went to a four year university..theres so many more requirements to qualify. I wouldn't be able to be accurate tho because im not sure...</p>
<p>i would say go to uc transfer website and read up on it (theres a bunch of info) DONT trust your advisor, sometimes they aren't experienced on it</p>
