will october scores be ontime before early action deadline comes

My sat score is about 1700 based on some of the practice tests I’ve taken. I’ll be taking the sat this May so my score wont be high but I will be retaking it during October. My October score will probably be above 2000 if i study hard this summer. Would the October scores be in time before early action deadline comes? Early action starts on November 1st and deadline is on 20th.

I want to increase my scholarship chances and the amount I can get, that’s why I want to send my October score instead of my May score.

gpa is 3.3 and I’ll be applying to umass amherst

Each school clearly spells out the suggested deadlines for testing. What does UMass Amherst’s webpage say?

My October SAT scores came out before November first last year. Many schools state that you can send scores after the deadline (usually you can send them 3-4 weeks after the deadline; make sure you check with each school you are applying early too to make sure that you don’t send them too late).

Yes, study hard this summer, but study hard now to bring your gpa up. Show an upward trend!

@onceuponamom I have been bringing up my gpa, messed up first year.
freshman my gpa was a 3, sophmore my gpa was 3.6, currently I’m a junior and so far i’ve gotten straight A or A- and only had a B in APUSH
