Will paying my enrollment deposit early decrease my chances for scholarships?

<p>I got accepted to ASU and I have the option to pay the deposit now or wait. However, I can't choose my housing if I don't pay it and I want the best dorms.</p>

<p>I'm worried because I have a great chance at getting the presidents scholarship, I'm just wondering if it would decrease my chances! Opinion?</p>

<p>the scholarship committee will work outside of the mechanisms required for deposits/housing. I wouldn’t worry about it one second. Make the deposit to secure better housing – don’t even wait.</p>
