Will they send an email about the exact decision date and/or time? Or do I have to rely on the internet to find out when the decisions come out? Some schools made it clear but some didn’t.
@equality4all Do some searching on the web. Check the school’s website first and then go to third party sites such as CollegeVine or Ivywise or even here on College Confidential.
Schools will generally send you an email telling you that your decision is posted online. Some will give you a heads up in advance, others won’t.
Most schools would mot tell you the exact time, or their portal would be overloaded at that specific time.
For colleges that issue decisons to all at the same time, you can go online to that college’s admission site and usually find its issue date (but no time of day). For colleges that issue decisions on a rolling basis (issued as completed applications are received), the college will not provide a date or time for your decision except you can go online and usually find an end date by which all decisons will be issued.
