Will SDSU rescind my transfer admission for a very slight drop in GPA?

I was recently admitted as a transfer student to SDSU with a 3.66 GPA. As with all transfer admissions, I need to maintain my "reported overall grade point average," according to my acceptance letter. Does that mean I need to get a 4.0 this semester? I'm only taking two classes this semester, and in one, I have a for sure A. There is a slight chance I might receive a B in my other class, which will bring down my overall GPA by a very small percentage. Like from 3.66 to 3.64. I called SDSU's admissions to see if this is something they will revoke my transfer over, and the woman just gave me a boilerplate answer, "Yes, if your GPA doesn't match your reported GPA, your offer may be revoked."

I'm totally paranoid, but is this something they'll really revoke my transfer over? Or are they mainly looking out for Ds and Fs? My major (journalism) requires a GPA of 3.0, so I'm well above the requirements, but I'm still a little worried.

I’m sure such a tiny drop would not be a problem. Big dips are what they’re worried about.

You’ll be fine

Thanks guys. I actually just got off the phone with another person in the admissions office, and they confirmed that it won’t be a problem. phew They said as long as I don’t have Ds or Fs, I’m fine. :)
