I'm taking my SAT II's November 6th and I would like to apply to the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) ED. My results will come out around the 26th and I will of course rush score them.

Will I be at a disadvantage in the application process if they receiving my SAT II's later than everything else? My reasoning behind this is that they'd have less spots open by the time they receive my full application.

“Early Decision candidates should take these examinations either during the junior year or in the summer before the senior year, but no later than November 2009. Early Decision candidates who opt for November examinations must rush their test scores to us.”

Schools understand that, if you’re applying early, you don’t always have all your scores there for them right on the deadline (So no, you won’t be at a disadvantage because I’m sure there are plenty of other students in the same boat!). On your common application note that you will be taking the tests. Then, once you know the scores have been sent/or received, drop the admissions office an email to either ask them if your profile has been updated or to let them know that the scores should be there. Those scores will not break your application (at least, they shouldn’t).

Thanks a lot! That’s quite reassuring, I just assumed that the part of Penns Admission website that said we could take it no later than November is outdated, but anyways I’ll know as soon as they update it.
Once again, thanks! :)
