Currently my sat score is lack luster at 1110, but I am retaking it soon and on my practice tests I score around 1210-1260. Which is much better than the previous score, but it can also be better, so probably I’ll take another one in October. My weighted gpa is 4.311. Also I am a commanding officer in naval science, a peer leader in my school, a mentor in the national honor society, I was a recorder, actor, and editor on my school morning show, and I am an active member of the society of professional hispanic engineers. What are my chances of getting accepted into NYU, Stevens, or Rutgers NB. I want to major in either engineering or business.
The middle 50% of SAT and ACT scores for Rutgers can be found here

Looks like for Engineering the average SAT is a 1450. So your scores are far below the average. You might have a better chance of applying to the School of Arts/Sciences in NB which has lower SAT score averages.
Good luck
For NYU you would also most likely an SAT of 1400+, especially if you want to pursue engineering as engineering schools can be quite selective at times. Also NYU gives very limited financial aid so if you need a significant scholarship you may want to consider somewhere else.
do u think that the sat is the only thing that college officers look at?
