Alright, so this is a pretty pointed question, and I doubt anyone has a definitive answer, but so I got my old SAT scores back on Friday, and got a 780 on the math (2010 overall). Now, the week after I took the old one, I took the new SAT and I know I did horribly – I didn’t even answer all the math questions, I hadn’t studied for it, and I was taking it just a week after the old one. I know my math score on the new SAT is going to be crap, and I’ve heard of the College Board flagging a test when the change in score is very dramatic, I’m a little nervous that might happen to me. I guess if they did accuse me of cheating, I could argue that they’re different tests and I wasn’t prepared for the new one? I dunno, thoughts?
You would be correct.
When there’s a dramatic increase. I seriously doubt they will flag you. There are plenty of things in life to worry about; this isn’t one of them.
