I made two minor errors on my recent application to a school. I put the wrong year down for when I took the SATs (looked it over twice and didn't even notice), and I was incorrect about the number of credits a past college course I took in high school was - I thought it was 3, but it was 4. However, they will see the correct values for both of these things on my high school transcript and the university's transcript, respectively. So will the figures on my app just get overrode or will they notice the discrepancy and could that make me look bad?

They're fine. Don't worry.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about that. For anything that has an official transcript or record, they're going to pay attention to that more anyway and just glance at that info on your app. With all the apps they look through, they're not looking for little mistakes.

ha i thought you meant mistakes like getting busted for marajuana or something like that lol.

No- the mistakes will surely make you stand out!!!! GJ!!!

Okay thanks guys. Makes me feel better.

if u really want, email them and tell them
It cant hurt either way

I guess I could. I just tend to get paranoid with things and this school might be sort of borderline for me, I don't want them to see two, count them, two mistakes and be like, okay, not admitting this kid!

For my EC, piano, I put down VP and president for positions held. Obviously this is for a club which is another EC. Does THAT mistake matter? I'm kinda worried about it now.

I know how you feel, buddy. Just remember that they're human!
