Will these SAT II Scores hurt me too much in admissions?

Just wanted an opinion on this because I am not sure if I should take another SAT II to perhaps make up for some of mine.

Math II -- 710
Math I -- 690
Biology E -- 650 (self studied after being in Regular Bio)

I was thinking about taking US History because I am in APUSH now, I will probably be able to get hopefully a 700 on it after studying...

PS: How are SAT Scores of 2140 (790 Math, 680 Writing, 670 CR) for Cornell?

Thanks in advance!

math good II
you dont need math I
bio yea try to get at least a 700
and us what the hey try it

but what school are you applying to some dont require sat IIs

*math II good

Depends on the school and program at Cornell you are trying to get into. I would say move on because your scores are adequate and make sure you have good essays, EC’s, and are in the top 10% of your high school class. Better SAT ll’s will not make up for weaknesses in those areas.

if it helps i got a 640 on my sat2 bio and i got into CAS ED. the only other one i took was US history and i got a 720 so i personally thing you’ll be fine. I got a 2220 on my reg. sat’s. I’m not in the top 10% of my class but my GPA was around 4.33 outa 4.55

I would not worry too much about your SAT II subject scores because mine were borderline hideous but I still made it into CALS at Cornell and some other schools which look at them

Yeah… Mine were PRETTY bad (Horrible, I was afraid that I’d be completely ignored because of them)… I still got into Engineering (Likely) and am a McCollum Dean’s Scholar…

■■■■ ur completele frucked…sry

Just kidding. Grades are much more important.

EDIT: McMullen Dean’s Scholar

that name has been bothering me all day…

I wouldn’t say Math 2 is good… I’m pretty sure it’s in the 75th percentile? I would say get it up to at least a 750.

I got in with a 720 Chem and 680 Math I. You should be alright, but by all means try to raise your scores if it really concerns you.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I am still thinking about it… not sure yet.

PS: Does anyone know if there is Score Choice at Cornell when it comes to SAT II’s??

I got in with SATII scores of 620 and 630… they can’t be that important. My regular SAT score was 2210, though.

And I have no idea if Cornell uses Score Choice. However, I don’t really think it matters in your case because all of your scores are fine.
