I applied to NJIT and got in, but the first semester of my senior year in HS I failed AP BC Calculus for personal reasons (not because of slacking off) and I'm sure I can pass the second semester, but would they rescind my acceptance because of this?

Damn failed? Well…If your GPA hasn’t lowered much and If you got in easily to NJIT then you should be good :D…Dont worry your good

I know people that have failed PRE-Calculus and still got in -___- So don’t worry at all.

If you don’t mind me asking, how did it go because im in the same boat…but i have a’s and b’s in everything else except in another ap class i have a C…Im pretty worried

by the way…Im taking AB calculus not BC

How did it go? Did they ever rescind your application? I wanna go to NJIT and I was accepted but I’m currently failing honors precalculus.

I have had students accepted into colleges and then they failed my AP Calc class. Some of the colleges have put the students on academic probation for first semester, but no one rescinded. The only cases I know where that happened were for a student with multiple failures (who didn’t graduate in time) and someone else with a major disciplinary (legal) action.
