Will this typo be my demise ?

I wrote "to further my education at the UF" instead of "at UF". Im and OOS transfer and I know the odds are already against me.... i'm literally depressed right now lol

While I’m not involved with admissions, I do not think that your application is doomed, done for, or otherwise condemned to a rejection pile because of /one/ typo.

Take a deep breath. I wish you the very best!

I had a typo in my application to a top tier college and I got accepted. That’s an even smaller mistake than mine.

Thanks guys. I needed to hear that. I was going to call tomorrow to try to fix it but I feel like that would just point it out. I won’t hear back until mid-April…this just makes it 2x more nerve racking !

No worries. My typo was 10 times worse than yours. You’ve applied and it’s done with, chill and have fun now.

Think of it this way: would you REALLY want to attend a school that would nix you because of a misplaced THE? Really? Why?

Chill. You’re fine.
