Take the advice above or expect a rejection letter from Tufts.
There is a lot of misinformation on the internet but the information on tufts.edu is from the horse’s mouth and accurate. Your guidance counselor gave you bad advice.
The site can not be more clear.

Unless you are applying for to the school of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts, send 2 subject tests & SAT OR ACT.
If not, don’t waste your app money.
cannot you not try amd do the sat2 subject tests by registering to be a standby student
Sending your bad scores gives you a shot, even if odds are against you. Sending no scores means your application is incomplete and is thus not considered. THe best solution would be for you toregister (late fee) for the January tests. English Literature and US History should be accessible to all students since all took these classes junior year, and add Math 2 if you took Precalculus, a science if you took one and did well, or a foreign language if you reached level 3 or 4.
Yep. If you don’t have the two subject tests, they aren’t going to read the application; it’s incomplete.
Hi. I am a senior in high school applying regular decision to tufts. I have read that tufts requires anyone that took the SAT to submit 2 SAT subject tests. However, I did not take any SAT 2 subject tests that I would like to submit. I took the new SAT with the additional essay. Is this true that tufts will not consider my application without these tests? Is it worth even applying?
(I am not able to take any SAT subject tests or ACT’s at this point by the way)
