Hey guys
I got accepted to UC Davis and I will be going there for fall as an Economics major. The only problem is that I am not doing well in my Math 1C class and I have a feeling that I might fail. It is not a pre-req class for my major and neither is it a GE requirement. I took it because it was a requirement for UCSD but now that I am not going there, I am stuck taking the class. So, if I fail my class, will UC Davis rescind my acceptance offer? Has anyone been in a similar situation. If anyone has any information and can share it with me, I would be grateful for life! Thank you!

It is very possible. An F isn’t even showing up, is it? Is this a summer class that you can do something about or is it the tail end of a semester? You will have to notify them if you get a D or F because that wasn’t the condition of acceptance. You will see reports of revoked admissions here and in the California under the State schools forum. But somewhere there is a post by a student recommending to be proactive. She corresponded with Berkeley ahead of time and they agreed to admit her anyway although she was expecting a D. She ended up with a C in the end so I don’t know how valid the advice is. Sorry I can’t find the post. All you can do is ask.
