For one semester, I went to a community college that is pretty far from my house. (I took two online classes) I asked them to send my transcripts to UCLA, but it takes 5 to 7 business days for them to just mail them. I would have had the transcripts rushed to UCLA, but that option was not available online. I don't want to go to the college, because its really far away, and the rushed transcripts would cost me 13$. If they arrive late, will UCLA revoke my admission. Also, does anyone find it weird that the deadline to send transcripts lands on a Sunday.

Like everything else with UCLA, I’m sure it will work out better if you contact them before the fact. In other words call them tomorrow with your situation. Don’t wait until June 2, when they’re already late, to contact them.

@collegedropout1 as long as they’re postdated by the 1st you’re fine.

They won’t rescind your transcripts for that, they’ll just put a hold on your account to prevent you from enrolling into classes.

It should be okay, I spoke to a rep at UCLA about this. They said, if you have sent it and we have not gotten it by June 1st, you can bring the transcripts in yourself.

@collegedropout1 I was reading some counselor talking points on this and the UCs noted that not every campus can get the transcripts in by the deadline and they are being flexible. From what I understand they moved the deadline earlier solely because of summer school issues. However, it might be good to send a heads up email to admissions office.

UPDATE: I thought you were talking about final transcripts due July 1. Above applies to that.
