<p>To give another example of the shades of meaning:
"Do you think Obama will choose Clinton as his running mate?"
Asks you to predict a future event.
"Do you think Obama would choose Clinton as his running mate"
Asks you to evaluate Obama's considerations in making this decision.</p>
