Will Williams rescind me?

I got accepted to Williams ED with a 4.0. Now, I still have A's in all my classes except for one where I slacked off a LOT and will probably end up with a C+/B- second semester. What is the chance of Williams rescinding my acceptance?

Close to none - I wouldn’t stress about it.

One C+? You’ll be fine. Don’t make a habit of it! They might–and this is very very unlikely–ask you to explain what happened. But that is it–and even that is very very unlikely.

if I were originally a 3.8gpa student throughout high school, then would Williams rescind me if I were to get 1A and 5B’s? What is the likelihood of me getting a rescission? :(

For a school to rescind you in June (when you have already turned down your other offers and would be left essentially college-less) is really, really rare. The school would be losing members of its incoming class and high achieving students (in William’s case) would be shut out of going to college until the next admissions season. For this to happen you’d probably have to get a serious suspension, arrest, or have a failing average. If your grades drop to B’s or you get a C, you may be asked to explain the drop. In some extreme cases you may be placed under academic probation for your first semester, meaning you’d have to reach a certain GPA (around 3.5 I’m guessing) to be removed from it. But these things rarely ever happen: breathe, you won’t be rescinded.
