our school doesnt weight
ACT:33, 11 writing
SAT: 2200 combined, 1470 without writing
SAT II: 720 lit, 740 mathII</p>

<p>newspaper (copy ed, managing ed last 2 years)
chem club (vice president 11, president 12)
orchestra/violin (a lot of awards/honors etc)
volunteering (hospital, interact club, etc)</p>

<p>If you are sincerely interested in journalism, you should be appllying early, as i don't think there is a better or more respected undergrad journalism school than Medill.
That being said, you are an excellent candidate (which of course guarantees nothing these days), and your prospects are high</p>
