Willamette or Lewis and Clark?

Which is considered a better school, academically, socially, and job opportunity-wise? Many thanks!

One set of rankings (US News) has Willamette at #59 and L&C at #75. Scores are actually a little higher for L&C while grades and class rank are about the same. I know DD2 loves L&C socially but not sure about Willamette or the job oppy comparison.

Willamette and Lewis & Clark have differences but I don’t know that one is better than another. Academic are good a both. Socially, L & C is probably more liberal and is considered “crunchy”. There are no frats at L&C. Willamette is a bit preppier and does have a strong Greek presence although there is an active social life for non-Greeks as well. If you are interested at all in politics, Willamette is right across the street from the state capitol. L&C gets the nod for a beautiful campus and being in a very vibrant city. You really can’t go wrong with either school.
